Dear all,

I'm currently testing the most recent version of MonkeyLogic (Jan 17) and trying to transfer tasks from our working version October 2014.

From the documentation it seems that the NIMH daqtoolbox supports queuing multiple waveforms in one AnalogOutput object and triggering those of interest. Is it possible to not use the daqtoolbox commands but instead use native MonkeyLogic functionality to achieve this?

Currently (in the old version, Matlab daqtoolbox), we're using a workaround to trigger the same AO object multiple times with different waveforms. We first trigger the STM object in the normal way, but for the second stimulation we load the AO object with another waveform using putdata(obj, y).

Best wishes, Daniel

The answer is no. There are many different cases in handling multiple waveforms with analogoutput and the syntax of the conditions file currently is not flexible enough to cover all of them.

If you are familiar with DAQ Toolbox commands, the way you are doing it is fine. Just don't forget to call start(obj) after putdata(obj,y) so that you can do trigger(obj) in no time.
