The Maier Lab (Vanderbilt) is using MonkeyLogic (ML) with a mirror stereoscope. In order to make sure the stereoscope is correctly aligned, we calibrate the entire visual field at ~1dva increments (far more than you need for a traditional eye calibration). It was a pain to manually enter all the points we wanted to calibrate, so we put together a function "setTargetPointsXY" to do it automatically.

Simply, the function resets ML's xycalibrate to have a "new_targetlist" (i.e., control points / fix locations). The key trick is that the user has to launch the eye calibration from the menu before running this function.

Function is attached as a ".txt", but we use in as a ".m". The function will need to be on the search path in order for you to call it from the command line. You can accomplish this by dropping it directly into your ML directory or by setting up a separate "utils" folder and adding that when you launch ML.

Thank you - this would be a good thing to incorporate into an upcoming release.
