Hello,

We are currently trying to build a portable experimental setup using a Laptop (Intel i7 8Gen, 16GB/32GB RAM) and Monkey Logic 2 (dual screens), by interfacing it with an NI X Series DAQ - USB-6366 (2 MS/s/ch, 8 AI, 24 DIO, 2 AO) with simultaneous sampling. We would be making use of all the 8 Analog channels for LFP, eye and hand data. We had a few compatibility concerns -

1) Does NIMH DAQ Toolbox support USB-6366? When we checked online, the Matlab DAQ toolbox supports this card. (https://in.mathworks.com/hardware-support/nidaqmx.html) We were slightly concerned about the support from NIMH DAQ toolbox.

2) Is there a specific requirement with the laptop configuration to run the monkey logic 2 software interface?

3) Can we access(track) position of mouse through USB on Monkey Logic 2?

It would be great if someone could help us out with this.

Thank you very much.

First of all, I am not answering any new question on this forum. Please use the official website. https://monkeylogic.nimh.nih.gov/

Second, what does it have anything to do with NIMH DAQ Toolbox whether MATLAB DAQ Toolbox supports a particular product or not? You can't use MATLAB DAQ Toolbox anyway, since the session interface is too slow for our purpose. And the legacy interface of MATLAB DAQ Toolbox doesn't support the card you mentioned.

1) Yes. Download the latest NIMH ML.

2) No.

3) Yes. It doesn't matter whether it is a USB-type or not.
