hi all,


I set ITI to 100 ms or other values but actually ML doesn't care!!!
and gives warning: 
Desired ITI exceeded (ITI ~= 1421)

dose any one know how should i handle this?

My guess is to turn off all the non-essential processes on your computer to see if that help reduce the latency. ML needs some time to cleanup at the end of the trial, so making the processor and disk I/O available should help. Also, you might consider getting an SSD hard drive. They are lighting fast.

The minimum length of the ITI is determined primarily by 1) how much graphical data must be loaded into the video RAM (this is all done in advance of actually running the trial to keep trial execution as fast as possible), which is a function of the stimuli (static images and movies) you're using, and 2) the speed of your computer.  In our typical cases, our minimum ITI is somewhere between 600-800 milliseconds.
