We are building a new ML behavioral system. We have bought two NI 6229 PCI DAQ cards according to the requirements of the official website, but our computer is equipped with pcie slot. Can we convert the pcie slot into pci through an adapter to match our PCI DAQ cards? Whether such an adapter will have an impact on the hardware performance? Is there any requirement for the performance of the adapter?Thank you for your attention and I look forward to your reply.

No, you can't. You should have bought a PCIe card. And you need only one card. The official website is https://monkeylogic.nimh.nih.gov/ and I didn't say anything like you need two NI 6229 PCI cards.

Thank you very much! We can buy a new computer with the pci port to match our PCI card, and the extra card can be used for backup.
